What, more garden wall?

Passion Flower

and a cat called Buster

Always the poser

Buster was a long-haired cat who was born in our porch, and remained with us for the 12 years of his life till 2007.  He was a bit of a mixed up kid: challenging interlopers (canine and feline), climbing trees and hay bales to ridiculous heights and more often than not needing rescue. Another time we found him leaning up against a local sheep dog as they sat side by side watching in fascination the activity of the bunny in the rabbit hutch.

Buster, along with his mother and sister are now in the garden border up against the wall. Planted over Buster is an elderly Passion Flower which gives singles and doubles, but, when in bud and first leaf, is almost as furry as he was. Rain stained and with more blooms than it has had for some time, it provides another clashing colour break in the wall length of the Clematis Marjorie.

Overblown and trying hard

Elderly plant on the wall, looking a little moth-eaten, and the Marjorie blooms coming to an end.
