Sun angled low and bright

and berries galore

Last flowering honeysuckle, hawthorn and barbed wire

Last flowering of a honeysuckle jauntily sporting a feather – almost too bright facing due south

Fuzzy to view because of brightness and focus being mainly on the aging leaves but it still smells of summer.

Then I started playing

Original

Not a good picture, but I just wouldn’t let it go

Last flowering honeysuckle, hawthorn and barbed wire

Over-egging the pudding

And a little something to rest the eye strain of the last

Last flowering honeysuckle, hawthorn and barbed wire

Much calmer on the red channel

Was going to put the first two of the hawthorn hedge into a tiled gallery but found that it made what was already a blurry image much worse – interesting compression?

Jewels on a dark day

Both images much more fun when enlarged

In the flash of a moment

Rubbery dimpling

theinfill, the infill and theinfillclicks, the infill clicks

A fascination with surface tension – the ‘flexing’ of the liquid bringing to mind Einstein, spacetime and the rubber sheet distortion

The image blows up so that, should you be so inclined, you can get a better look at the dimpling around the larger leaf.  There’s quite a ‘steep’ slope on that surface dimple.
