Wool and Water
Sheep shed wool everywhere right through till when they are eventually sheared. Presumably there are still wild sheep somewhere which shed their whole coats naturally.
These are full sized trees in the bottom and up the sides of this valley and looking up towards the slopes and distant forested slopes of the next valley and, at the end of that, the back of the Cheviot.
